CHIP BLANTON & JOEY HAYMON : FISH&WILDLIF
Fish and Wildlife Management is a one-credit course that provides students with the opportunity to become more knowledgeable about some of today's most valued, yet vulnerable, natural resources. Students develop an understanding of the important role these resources play in the ecosystem as they participate in hands-on activities in the classroom. Topics included in the course are careers, outdoor safety, history of fish and wildlife management, administration of fish and wildlife management, fish and wildlife issues, fish and wildlife classification, fish and wildlife ecology and relationships, fish and wildlife identification, fish and wildlife regulations and sport hunting, fish and wildlife management (nutrition, cover, nesting, and habitat), endagered species, fish and wildlife pest management, and outdoor recreation.

Water Monitoring

The Second Tuesday of EVERY Month: Meet in the parking lot beind the Ag room, 

Wildlife food plots
Fish and Wild life students will be planting demostration food plots near the greenhouse. Adams Brisco Seed Company in GA. will be helping provide seed for this project.The Class will also be participating in" Backyard Habitat by improving habitat around the FPHS campus.
This Spring a limited Number of Shrubs will be available to plant for improving Quail habitat.
